This is gonna be short and sweet.
As of today I have lost 31.4 lbs off my ample body! How, do you ask? Not by taking away….but by adding in! Yes, that’s right. Six months ago I discovered the book The Gabriel Method. You might have heard me talk about it here before. The premise is that bodies in society today are UNDERnourished, because of all the processed foods that are stripped of the nutrients we need. And because our bodies are undernourished, they are holding on to weight for dear life because they think (yes, bodies DO think!) they are starving!
So, by adding in real, live, non processed, organic food, we begin to slowly add the nutrients our bodies are starving for. I did not intentionally change anything in my diet at first. I just added organic fruits and veg, green smoothies, and organic meat. And what happened is I naturally began to crave good stuff. Yes, I actually CRAVE vegetables! Who’d have thought THAT would ever happen? I grew up on canned corn and peas, for heavens sake!
Jon of The Gabriel Method also uses daily visualization, which I have been faithfully using as well. Visualizing my ideal body, letting my body know it is SAFE and no longer needs to hold on to weight.
This has been THE most painless weight loss I have ever experienced. Need I say it again? 31.4 lbs!!!!! That’s THIRTY ONE (point) FOUR LBS of excess flesh. I’m totally amazed.
